The 5€ Bondora promo code: it is already included in my Go & Grow link. Sign up through it and Go & Grow adds €5 to your account. Keep it by depositing at least €50 within 30 days. Go & Grow, the new name of Bondora’s investment product, pays up to 6% a year, credited daily, with a €1 fee per withdrawal. Capital is at risk: there is no deposit guarantee.

Bondora Is Now Go & Grow

Go & Grow is the new name of Bondora’s investment product, on goandgrow.eu. The product and the 6% target did not change. Bondora AS still issues the loans. If you searched for “Bondora”, you are in the right place.

Is the company behind it safe? I answer that in my Bondora review after 7 years as an investor, with the legal entities, the 2025 results and what happens if Bondora defaults. This page focuses on how Go & Grow works and whether it is worth it.

How Go & Grow Works

You deposit money and Go & Grow invests it automatically. Your money buys small fractions of thousands of consumer loans. You do not pick loans or change settings. Returns are credited every day.

Go & Grow Risks: What Can Go Wrong

Go & Grow is not a bank deposit. No deposit guarantee scheme covers your money. Three risks matter most: credit, platform and liquidity.

Credit risk Medium: unsecured consumer loans Platform risk Medium: one company Liquidity risk Medium: partial payouts Deposit guarantee None: full capital at risk
RiskWhat reduces itWhat it means for you
Credit riskDiversification across thousands of loans in five countriesMany defaults in a recession can hit returns
Platform riskLong track record since 2008Your return depends on one company group
Liquidity riskPartial payout systemWithdrawals can take longer in a crisis
Regulatory riskLoans issued by a licensed credit providerGo & Grow itself is not a bank or a deposit
Capital lossNothing: no deposit guaranteeYou can lose part or all of your money
Normal conditions Withdrawal request 1 to 3 business days, €1 fee Full amount in your bank Market stress Withdrawal request Part 1 Part 2 Paid in full over time

Partial payouts are written in the terms. Go & Grow explains them on its help page on partial payouts. In spring 2020 some investors received their money in parts over several weeks. For a wider view, read how safe P2P lending really is.

My Experience with Bondora (2016 to 2023)

PeriodWhat I didResult
2016 onwardPortfolio Manager and Portfolio Pro, single loans9% to 20% net in my best years
From 2018Go & Grow next to Portfolio ProSteady daily returns, fast withdrawals
2023Bondora closed my account after a KYC issueAll funds and interest returned to my bank

Bondora always paid me, from 2016 to 2023, and returned every euro with interest. My main criticism stays the same: Go & Grow is a black box. You do not see which loans sit inside your balance. Bondora Group reported a €9.5 million net profit in 2025, its ninth profitable year in a row.

Go & Grow vs Alternatives

Go & Grow sits between a savings account and an active P2P marketplace. It pays more than most savings accounts, with less work than picking loans yourself.

Savings account below 2%, guaranteed up to €100,000 Go & Grow up to 6%, daily liquidity P2P marketplaces 9 to 11% Indicative annual rates, not guaranteed. Marketplace range: Mintos, where my net return is 9.3%.

For higher returns with more control, see my Mintos review with my €54,481 portfolio or the Debitum review for business loans. I compare the main platforms side by side in Mintos vs Go & Grow vs PeerBerry and in my ranking of the best P2P lending platforms in Europe. If you need full protection, start from the best high yield savings accounts in Europe.

Should You Invest in Go & Grow?

Go & Grow fits you ifSkip it if
You want a hands-off productYou need capital protection
You value fast access to cashYou need the money at a fixed date
You accept up to 6% for less effortYou want to see every loan you fund
You keep it to a small part of your portfolioIt would hold most of your savings

My view: Go & Grow works as a parking spot for spare cash. I would not use it as an emergency fund or as a savings account replacement.

Affiliate link. Capital at risk. Go & Grow is not a savings account and is not covered by any deposit guarantee scheme. The 6% return is a target rate. This content is for education only, not financial advice.

I was planning in joining Bondora, this new feature was the final push!

Let’s see how success I will get now :)

Welcome! Nice question! If I’d need to migrate from my Go&Grow to Portfolio Pro I’d just sell my Go&Grow, since liquidity is guaranteed there. What I would absolutely do beforehand is: 1- Suspend any active auto-withdrawal. 2- Suspend Portfolio manager if running (if you see ⏸ it is running, if you see ▶️ it is paused). 3- Start a good Portfolio PRO!

      • 007 says:

by “sell my Go&Grow” you mean to withdrawal to bank? (I do not see another ‘sell’ function)
it’s not possible to transfer funds from Go&Grow account to Main account?

I keep my spare cash on bondora since 2019. 1€ withdrawal fee to cash out is ok, I cash out less often and it’s ok.

I signed up but did not find the push to deposit some money yet.
Can I use a credit card and deposit as little as 100€?
